Compensation for head injuries will depend on the nature and severity of the injury and the period of recovery.  The bottom of this bracket is appropriate in those cases where the head injury is minor and any injury to the brain is minimal. Recovery will have taken place within a few weeks. The amount will rise where there is continuing symptoms and headaches. For minor head injuries the awards can range from £1,450 – £8,400 and for minor brain injuries it can range from £10,000 – £28,250.
