This year Browells have elected not to send Christmas cards and instead have donated to the Northern Stage in support of their Christmas Access Scheme. This scheme allows enables children, who might not otherwise visit the theatre to enjoy a special Christmas treat, by providing free tickets and help with transport to the theatre. This year the main house Christmas production for children over seven and their ‘human beans’ is the adventurous, heart-warming story of The Borrowers. This classic story of some rather small, very clever folk who run into some trouble whilst borrowing what they need will be brought to life in the Northern Stage way, with puppets, live music and charm.
